Kianna Larsson, a junior at Rio Americano High in California, placed second in a Red Division girls varsity race in 17:59.2 at the 42nd Woodbridge Cross Country Classic presented by ASICS America at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. Larsson helped Rio Americano secure the team victory by a 113-114 margin against Valencia High from Placentia. The course measured closer to a 5-kilometer distance than the reported 3-mile layout.
